EVOLVE showcased in the 8th IEEE International Conference on Connected Vehicle and Expo (ICCVE)
The 2019 IEEE ICCVE – International Conference on Connected Vehicles and Expo – is the brand-new application-driven flagship conference of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society and is the world’s premier conference in that field to bridge the automated vehicle gap: Science and Technology, Consumer Trust, Homologation and Liability (https://iccve2019.com/ ). This year, the conference was in Graz, organized by Virtual Vehicle and Graz, University of Technology.
Christian Kaiser and Alexander Stocker from Virtual Vehicle gave a talk titled ‘Data science meets connected vehicles: Potentials, pitfalls, and application examples’ in the ‘Artificial Intelligence and Data Science’ Session at ICCVE’s Industry Day on 7th November to foster the EVOLVE ecosystem development. This case study featured the steps to successfully creating data-driven services from vehicle operation data and other contextual data such as weather data or map data. It included a short presentation of the EVOLVE project and how High-Performance Computing from EVOVE can enhance the productivity of data scientists in the mobility and transport domain.
