Launched in December 2018, EVOLVE is a €14 million innovation action comprising 19 key partners from 11 European countries.

The project is to introduce important elements of high-performance computing (HPC) and cloud into big data platforms, taking advantage of recent technological advancements to enable cost-effective applications in seven different pilot cases, in order to keep up with the unprecedented data growth we are experiencing.
EVOLVE aims to take concrete and decisive steps in bringing together the big data, HPC, and cloud worlds in a unique testbed that will increase our ability to extract value from massive and demanding datasets.
